Fundação Dr. António Cupertino de Miranda

The Fundação Dr. António Cupertino de Miranda is a foundation in the Portuguese city of Porto . It was built in 1964 by the banker António Cupertino de Miranda (1892–1988). The purpose of the foundation is in the areas of culture and education.

The headquarters of the foundation has been on Avenida da Boavista since April 1, 1991 . The building was built according to plans by the architect Francisco Braancamp de Figueiredo . The Museu do Papel Moeda (= Museum for Paper Money) opened there on January 20, 1996 .
