Funkenburg (Mülsen)

The Funkenburg is the name of a parcel near Mülsen in the Zwickau district in Saxony .

The Funkenburg is at the highest point (394.6 m above sea level) of the connecting road between Lichtenstein and Mülsen. Until the Lichtenstein bypass was built, this was a section of federal highway 173 .

history

The name Funkenburg is mentioned for the first time in 1841, but there was already a house there in 1825. The settlement today consists of an inn, two farms and two houses.
