Functiolect
As Funktiolekt (from functio n and the Konfix - lekt from Dia lekt ) is in the Varieties linguistic variation based on a language understood their communicative purpose within a communication area and a work situation.
Individual functional sects
Based on functional stylistics and its classic classification into five functional styles, the following functiolects are assumed:
- Functional everyday language
- Functiolect poetic language
- Functional science language
- Functiolekt official language
- Functiolekt press language
- Funkiolekt advertising language
- Functiolekt instruction language
These functiolects are characterized by special linguistic means that have developed due to their integration into the respective social work areas.
