Street cops Ace and Dick took care of law and order on the streets of the 70s. The constellation of the two cops is based on buddy films and typical lifestyles of the 70s such as clothes, music and dances are portrayed and parodied stereotypically and satirically .

The series was produced in France between 2001 and 2003. This resulted in 2 seasons with 39 episodes. The German premiere took place on January 14, 2003 on MTV . Later broadcasts were also on SF Zwei . The second season was not broadcast in German.
