The Futebol Clube de Canchungo , mostly just FC Canchungo and occasionally FC Cantchungo , is a sports club from the Guinean city of Canchungo . He is particularly known for his soccer team .
history
The association was founded on July 1, 1948 in what was then the Portuguese colony of Portuguese Guinea.
The club only achieved its greatest successes after Guinea-Bissau gained independence in 1974. In 2014 and 2017, for example, it won the Taça Nacional da Guiné-Bissau cup . In 2017 he also won the Supercup , the Super Taça Nacional , after beating the champions Benfica de Bissau 1-0.
So far Canchungo has not yet won a title in the Campeonato Nacional da Guiné-Bissau , the country's top division.
