The feed measure , also feed measure , was the so-called quarter measure and an Austrian, precisely a Lower Austrian, volume and grain measure .
The dimensional chain was
- 1 food measure = 2 cups = 4 half cups = 8 quarter cups = 16 eighth cups = 32 sixteenth cups = 64 thirty-second cups (large)
- 1 food measure = 48 4/9 Parisian cubic inches = 48.4428 Parisian cubic inches = 24/25 liters
The 16 eighths are also called Grain Trial Metzen .
Individual proportions were
- 2 fodder measure = half measure
- 4 fodder measure = 1 measure
- 8 food gauges = 1 eighth
- 16 food measure = 1 quarter
- 32 food measure = ½ meat
- 64 food measure = 1 meat
