Future of the Left

Future of the Left is a British rock band from Cardiff formed in 2005.

Career

The founding members were Andy "Falco" Falkous (vocals, guitar, keyboards), Kelson Mathias (vocals, bass) and Jack Egglestone (drums). Andy Falkous and Jack Egglestone used to be members of the band Mclusky and Kelson Mathias was with Jarcrew .

In January 2007 the band released their first single on vinyl with "Fingers Become Thumbs / The Lord Hates A Coward" , followed in June by adeadenemyalwayssmellsgood . In September 2007 Future of the Left released their first album, Curses, on the Too Pure label . In 2009 the follow-up album Travels With Myself And Another was released .

In 2010, Kelson Mathias left the band and was replaced by Jimmy Watkins and Julia Ruzicka (formerly Million Dead ). In June 2012 the third album, The Plot Against Common Sense, was released on Xtra Mile Recordings.
