Mclusky was a British rock band from Cardiff , Wales . Since its founding in 1996, members have been Andy "Falco" Falkous as singer and guitarist, Matt Harding as drummer and Jon Chapple as bassist. Harding retired in 2003 and was replaced by Jack Egglestone. On January 7, 2005, the band broke up.
Jon Chapple has since concentrated on his new band Shooting At Unarmed Men , while Andy Falkous and Jack Egglestone founded the band Future of the Left , with which they have released four albums since then.
The band was particularly well known for their furious live performances and the unusual stage behavior of their bass player.
Also to be emphasized are the humorous lyrics of the band, which are particularly rich in pop culture. For example, Mclusky Do Dallas quotes the popular porn film Debbie Does Dallas . George Lucas ' Star Wars is also referred to at least once on each album .
