history
The company emerged in 1974 from the former Hirth Motoren GmbH . The program includes aircraft engines for ultralight aircraft and small engines for a wide variety of applications. In 2016 the company was taken over by the Chinese group DEA General Aviation . After insolvency in 2018, the company was sold to the Swiss-Swedish drone manufacturer UMS Skeldar.
