A jack is a badge used by student associations in the form of a couleur ribbon attached to the hat . It can be the colors of a friendship bond, the colors of a lost bond or something similar. For example, the singers of St. Pauli Jena et Burgundia Breslau in Münster use a ribbon of wine with the colors blue-red on white as Gösch. These are the colors of the Burgundia Breslau singers, one of the founding singers of the Federation.
