The Gothenburg Book Fair (Book & Library), also known as Gothenburg Book Fair known is a 1985 founded Book Fair , held annually in the Swedish Gothenburg takes place. It is a meeting point for writers, publishers, literary agents, literary scholars, librarians, literary critics and readers.

In the beginning, the Bok & Bibliotek was a trade fair exclusively for booksellers , in its founding year 5000 visitors were counted. With over 70,000 to 100,000 visitors, it is now the largest trade fair for the book and library industry in Scandinavia . It takes place annually on four days in the last week of September, with the first two days reserved for trade visitors. It is organized by "Bok & Bibliotek i Norden AB", a subsidiary of Svenska Mässan . The venue is the Svenska Mässan congress center in central Gothenburg. 900 exhibitors from the fields of books, newspapers, magazines, comics, maps, art books and books for artists, antiquarian books, graphic and office supplies, library facilities and databases, film and audiovisual equipment are exhibiting on 14,000 m². (As of 2010)

The fairs each have an annual focus. At the 25th Bok & Bibliotek 2009, the focus was on literature from Latin American countries, in 2010 the attention was given to 70 guests from 25 African countries. The 27th event was dedicated to books from the German-speaking countries of Germany, Austria and Switzerland under the motto “Three countries - one language”. At the 28th fair, which took place between September 27 and 30, 2012, attention was drawn to Nordic literature. The 29th fair was scheduled for the days from September 26th to 29th, 2013 and had Romania as its theme, the 30th fair took place from September 25th to 28th, 2014 and had Brazil as the theme country (number of visitors: around 97,000 visitors) .
