Göttingen Forum for Classical Studies

The Göttingen Forum for Classical Studies ( GFA ) is a specialist journal in the field of Classical Studies ( Ancient History , Classical Philology and Classical Archeology ). All articles are freely accessible on the Internet as continuously paginated PDF files ; the year-by-year edition in print and as CD-ROM, which initially appeared in parallel, was discontinued in 2006.

The GFA was founded in 1998 and is currently being edited by Johannes Bergemann , Armin Eich , Peter Eich , Ralf von den Hoff , Gerrit Kloss (Editor), Felix Pirson , Jan Radicke and Thomas Riesenweber (as of 2019).

In addition to the magazine, longer monographs appear as supplements to the Göttingen Forum for Classical Studies , originally like the magazine in the Edition Ruprecht, since 2008 in the publishing house Walter de Gruyter .
