Torbjørn Gøtuskegg († around 970 in Gøta , Faroe Islands ) was a Viking chief in the Faroe Islands.

Torbjørn was the father of Tróndur í Gøtu , one of the main characters in the Faroe Islands saga as well as historically documented in the history of the Viking Age in the Faroe Islands . Torbjørn's brother Sigmund the Elder was the father of Brestir Sigmundsson and Beinir Sigmundsson . So Torbjørn was not only the father of Tróndur, but also the great-uncle of Sigmundur Brestisson , his greatest adversary.
