Günter-Willi Scholz

Günter-Willi Scholz (born August 17, 1952 in Barleben ) is a German politician ( SED , PDS ). He was elected to the state parliament of Saxony-Anhalt in 1990, but resigned his mandate on November 14, 1991.

Education and life

Günter Scholz attended school for ten years and then completed vocational training (cattle breeding) with a high school diploma . From 1974 to 1978 he studied law in Halle and graduated in 1982 with a doctorate in law. jur. from. He then worked as one of the few lawyers in the GDR. Günter Scholz is married and has two children.

politics

Günter Scholz was a member of the SED in the GDR and, since it was renamed in 1990, the PDS. For his party, he was a member of the municipal council in Teutschenthal and mayor there from 1987 to 1990. In the first state election in Saxony-Anhalt in 1990, he was elected to the state parliament via the state list. On November 14, 1991, he resigned his mandate and ended his membership in the PDS . His successor in the state parliament was Antje Tietz .

From 1992 to 2004 Günter Scholz again held the office of honorary mayor in the municipality of Teutschenthal. In addition to his work as mayor, he has also been a member of the municipal council of the municipality of Teutschenthal since 1990.
