Günter F. Müller

Günter Fred Müller (* 1946 ) is a German business psychologist .

Life

Müller studied psychology at the University of Mannheim from 1969 to 1974 . He then worked there as a research assistant and obtained his doctorate in the department in 1977. He then went to the University of Oldenburg , where he also completed his habilitation in 1985. In 1989 he accepted the professorship for work, industrial and organizational psychology at Bielefeld University . Three years later he moved to the University of Koblenz-Landau , where he held the professorship for social psychology and work, industrial and organizational psychology for over 20 years . He has been retired since April 2012.

research

In his work, Müller mainly devotes himself to psychological aspects of entrepreneurial activity, for example when setting up a business , in personnel management or in negotiations. Among other things, he developed the questionnaire for diagnosing entrepreneurial potential (F-DUP) . He also researches the topics of self-management , independence and self-management.
