Marco Antonio Regil
Marco Antonio Regil ( Marco Antonio de Regil Sánchez ; born December 27, 1969 in Tijuana ) is a Mexican television presenter.
Regil took part in the talent competition El Super Locutor del 85 of the Grupo Uniradio at the age of fifteen and already had his own radio program in the city of Obregón as a schoolboy. In 1990 he directed and produced the Máxima Expresión program at Televisa Tijuana . In 1993 he went to Mexico City and worked for Televisa Radio's Estéreo 102 . That same year, he was given the opportunity to host Televisa productions that were broadcast across Mexico and beyond. With programs such as Teletón México (from 1997), 100 Mexicanos Dijeron (2001–2006), Los 5 magníficos (2007), Hazme reír y serás millonario (2010) and Un nuevo día (since 2018), he achieved great successes in Mexico and all of Latin America Popularity.
In the Spanish version of the animated film Megamind , Regil played the role of Metro Man (original: Brad Pitt ). He also became known for his commitment to a vegan lifestyle and support for the animal rights movement.
