Günter Schwarz (born September 10, 1931 in Berlin , † July 25, 2000 ) was a German SPD politician .

education and profession

After completing his Abitur, Günter Schwarz studied German, history and philosophy at the Universities of Cologne and Berlin. After the 1st state examination he worked as a trainee lawyer, after the 2nd state examination he became a study assessor. In 1963 he became a teacher and later senior director at a grammar school.

politics

Günter Schwarz was a member of the SPD from 1960. In 1964 he became deputy district chairman of the Young Socialists Düsseldorf, and in 1965 chairman of the SPD district of Altstadt / Düsseldorf. Schwarz was editor-in-chief of the "Rhein-Ruhr-Spiegel", information from young social democrats on the Lower Rhine. He was a member of the WDR Broadcasting Council from November 1970 to June 1980.

From July 25, 1966 to July 25, 1970, Günter Schwarz was a directly elected member of the 6th State Parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia for the constituency 048 Düsseldorf V.
