Günter Warnecke (engineer)

Günter Warnecke (born November 27, 1937 in Zarrentin ) is a German engineer and professor emeritus.

Life

Günter Warnecke studied mechanical engineering and production technology at the Technical University of Hanover . In 1959 he became active in the Corps Ostfalia Hannover, which in 1987 became part of the Corps Hannovera Hannover . He completed his studies as a graduate engineer. In 1973 he became a Dr.-Ing. PhD. Until 1978 he worked at the Institute for Production Technology and Machine Tools at the Technical University of Hanover as a scientific assistant and chief engineer. After working in leading positions in industry, from 1980 to June 2002 he was full professor for production technology and business organization at the University of Kaiserslautern . From 1998 to June 2002 he was President of the University of Kaiserslautern.

Warnecke wrote over 50 articles in scientific journals.
