Günther Hütl

Günther Hütl (born May 29, 1950 in Voitsberg ) is an Austrian politician ( ÖVP ) and a former member of the Austrian National Council .

education and profession

Günther Hütl attended elementary school and from 1961 to 1969 high school. He then studied biomedical engineering at the Technical University in Graz and obtained the academic degree Dipl.-Ing. Between 1969 and 1970, Hütl did military service.

Hütl has been a civil servant at the Federal Institute for Agricultural Engineering since 1977 and a part-time teacher at the Higher Agricultural Federal College Francisco Josephinum . He was given the title of Hofrat .

politics

Hütl has been a councilor for the city of Wieselburg since 1995 . He was City Councilor for Culture until 2005 and has been City Councilor for Tourism since 2005. In 1994, Hütl was elected city party chairman of the ÖVP, and since 1998 he has also been the district chairman of ÖAAB Scheibbs . Hütl was a member of the National Council from December 20, 2002, but failed to return after the 2006 National Council election . He resigned from the National Council on October 29, 2006.

Private

Hütl is married and has a daughter and a son.
