GBZ (callsign)
GBZ is the call sign of a British long-wave transmitter that sends coded signals to submerged submarines on the frequency 19.6 kHz from Anthorn in Cumbria (formerly Criggion). The range is several thousand kilometers.
Signals from LORAN and MSF (time signal transmitters) are also broadcast from the same location .
