The GD Beira Mar was a sports club from the Portuguese coastal town of Monte Gordo . It was founded on August 2, 1950.

The club played its home games in the 10,000-seat Complexo Desportivo de Monte Gordo . From 2003 to 2011 he played seven seasons in the fourth class III Divisão. In the 2008/09 season, Beira Mar played third-rate for one season.

In 2007/08 , 2008/09 and 2009/10 DG Beira Mar took part in the Taça de Portugal .

In 2009 the club was declared bankrupt and stopped playing in 2011 with the withdrawal from the III Divisão.
