Coordinates: 33 ° 56 ′ S , 118 ° 55 ′ E The Shire of Jerramungup is a local government area (LGA) in the Australian state of Western Australia . The area is 6507 km² and has about 1100 inhabitants (2016).
Jerramungup is located in the south of the state on the Australian south coast about 360 kilometers southeast of the capital Perth . The headquarters of the Shire Council is in the village of Jerramungup, where about 250 residents live (2016).

The Jerramungup Council has seven members. They are elected by all residents of the Shire. Jerramungup is not divided into districts. The chairman of the council (Shire President) is also recruited from among the councilors.
