GPV International A / S (or GPV for short ) is an EMS (Electronic Manufacturing Services) service provider headquartered in Vejle , Denmark .
GPV is one of the 10 largest EMS service providers in Europe and employs around 4,000 people. The group of companies has branches in Europe (Denmark, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Slovakia), America (Mexico) and Asia (China, Sri Lanka, Thailand).
Field of activity
The GPV Group is a service provider for system integration for European, American and Asian OEMs. Solutions are produced for sectors such as cleantech, industry, medical technology and transport.

history
GPV International was originally called Glostrup Pladevaerksted and was later renamed GPV Industri A / S. GPV Industri A / S was first listed on the stock exchange in 1986 and acquired several companies through 2005 before going bankrupt in 2009. The company was re-established under the current name GPV International A / S.
GPV International received new ownership in 2016 when the company was bought by industrial group Schouw & Co.
At the time of the acquisition, GPV had its headquarters and production facilities in Denmark and production facilities in Thailand. In May 2016, GPV decided to build a production facility in the second largest city in Mexico, Guadalajara.
In March 2017, the EMS company BHE A / S (formerly Bent Hede Elektronik) based in DK-Horsens was acquired.
At the beginning of 2019, GPV acquired Swiss competitor CCS, resulting in total sales of DKK 2.6 billion.
