The Cross-Velox Maschinenfabrik GmbH (proper spelling: GRIFFIN VELOX) is a packaging machine manufacturer based in Lübeck . The company has over 100 employees and a turnover of around 20 million euros.

history

The company goes back to the Greifenmühle in Klützow, Pomerania (today Klützow is part of Stargard in Poland ). This mill can be traced back to around 1100. Since 1734 the mill has been owned by the Mahlkuch family. Ernst Mahlkuch introduced several innovations and transferred the company to Lübeck after the Second World War. The company had been called Greif-Werke since 1938, and has been called Greif-Velox since 1997 .
