The Thebe peak is around 1000 m high mountain on Alexander Island west of the Antarctic Peninsula . It rises north of the Ablation Valley .
The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it in 2002 in connection with the neighboring Jupiter Glacier after Jupiter's moon Thebe .
