GRN care center Sinsheim

The GRN care center in Sinsheim is a facility for people in need of care, mentally stressed or disabled people in Sinsheim , Baden . It is the successor institution of the district nursing home and the later district nursing home Sinsheim. Today the Rhein-Neckar health center clinic group is responsible for this .

history

The former Franciscan monastery Sinsheim was acquired by the district of Heidelberg in 1876 . He brought the "district nursing home" into it. The new building was opened in 1905. The monastery buildings were demolished.

On May 15, 1940, by order of the Baden Ministry of the Interior, the first transports of patients to the killing centers began as part of “euthanasia”.

Facility

There are 289 patients in the facility. 280 people are employed.
