GSAT-7 or INSAT-4F is an Indian military communications satellite.It is the sixth of the INSAT-4 series and was developed by the Indian space agency ISRO .

The satellite was launched on August 29, 2013 at 20:30 UTC together with Eutelsat 25B with an Ariane 5 ECA from the Center Spatial Guyanais .
payload
GSAT-7 communicates in the UHF , C and Ku bands . This is the first satellite built by ISRO to provide services to the Indian military (primary user is the Indian Navy).
