Gabriela Heinrich

Gabriela Heinrich (born April 18, 1963 in Berlin ) is a German politician ( SPD ) and editor . She has been a member of the German Bundestag since the federal election in 2013 and has been the vice chairman of the parliamentary group since September 2019.

Life

Gabriela Heinrich graduated from the TU Berlin with a degree in media consultancy. In 1990 she moved to Nuremberg. She works as an editor . Heinrich is the chairwoman of Pro Familia in Nuremberg. She is a member of ver.di .

Gabriela Heinrich is married and has one child.

Political commitment

In 1991 Heinrich joined the SPD. She has been an honorary city councilor in Nuremberg since 2002. In the federal election 2013 she ran in the federal constituency of Nuremberg-North . Although she was unable to win the direct mandate, she entered the Bundestag via the SPD's Bavarian state list.

Heinrich is a full member of the joint committee of the 19th German Bundestag . In addition, she is a deputy member of the Committee on Foreign Affairs , the Committee on Human Rights and Humanitarian Aid , the Defense Committee and the Committee on Economic Cooperation and Development .

Gabriela Heinrich has been a member of the Franco-German Parliamentary Assembly since 2019 .

On September 24, 2019, she was elected deputy chairman of the SPD parliamentary group responsible for foreign policy and human rights.
