Sebastian Brehm was elected with 31.3% of the first votes with the lowest percentage of first votes of all direct mandates of the CSU and also with the small gap to the second placed or first defeated. After the CSU has obtained overhang mandates , his election contributes to the inflation of the Bundestag through its additional mandate and compensatory mandates for other parties.
