The Bundestag constituency of Passau (constituency 229) has been a constituency in Bavaria since 1949 . It includes the city and the district of Passau without the communities of Aicha vorm Wald , Eging a.See , Fürstenstein and Hofkirchen , which have been part of the Deggendorf constituency since 2017 . Since 1949, the constituency has always been won by the direct candidates of the CSU .
