Jella Teuchner

Jella Teuchner , née Thurnreiter (born May 11, 1956 in Gelsenkirchen ) is a German politician ( SPD ).

Life and work

After completing secondary school , Jella Teuchner completed an apprenticeship as an industrial clerk in a medium-sized clothing company in Passau , where she then headed payroll from 1977 to 1990. From 1983 to 1990 she was also chairwoman of the works council and from 1987 to 1990 training manager for industrial clerks.

From 1991 she worked as a full-time union secretary at the Textile Clothing Union , now IG Metall .

Jella Teuchner is married, has two daughters and three foster children.

Political party

In 1987 Jella Teuchner joined the SPD . She is the deputy chairwoman of the SPD sub-district of Passau and is a member of the board of the SPD district of Lower Bavaria and the sub -district board of the Working Group of Social Democratic Women in Passau. Since 1994 she has also been a member of the SPD party council.

From 1994 to 2009 Jella Teuchner was a member of the German Bundestag . Since October 2002 she was deputy spokeswoman for the Bavarian regional group in the SPD parliamentary group . From March 2003 to October 2005 she was also the sect representative of the SPD parliamentary group.
