Trivia

Alois Rainer (politician, 1921), Ernst Hinsken and Alois Rainer junior, the three directly elected members of this constituency since 1965, live or lived in the community of Haibach (Lower Bavaria) and worked there in their parents' craft businesses. The sister of Alois Rainer junior, who also comes from Haibach, is Gerda Hasselfeldt . In 1987, when she was still a district councilor for the district of Regens, she moved into the Bundestag as the list successor. Since the beginning of the 1990s, however, she has no longer been politically active in this constituency, but always moved into the Bundestag as a direct candidate for the Bundestag constituency of Fürstenfeldbruck from 1990 to 2013 .
