The constituency of Kulmbach (constituency 240) is a federal constituency in Bavaria . It includes the districts of Kulmbach and Lichtenfels as well as the cities of Baunach and Scheßlitz and the communities of Bischberg , Breitengüßbach , Gerach , Gundelsheim , Heiligenstadt i.OFr. , Kemmern , Königsfeld , Lauter , Litzendorf , Memmelsdorf , Oberhaid , Rattelsdorf ,Reckendorf , Stadelhofen , Viereth-Trunstadt , Wattendorf and Zapfendorf in the Bamberg district .
From 2011 to 2013, after the resignation of the directly elected Karl-Theodor zu Guttenberg in 2009 due to his plagiarism affair , the Kulmbach constituency was not represented in the Bundestag.
