Max Spörl
Max Spörl (born April 16, 1909 in Schwarzenbach am Wald , † July 9, 1997 in Naila ) was a German entrepreneur and politician ( CSU ).
Life and work
After attending school, Spörl completed an apprenticeship as a furrier, which he completed with a journeyman's examination. He later passed the examination as a master furrier and since 1931 was co-owner and manager of the company Adolf Spörl & Co., fur and tobacco wholesalers and fur goods factory in Schwarzenbach am Wald, and co-owner of the Spörl OHG hat factory. From 1940 to 1945 he took part in the Second World War as a soldier , most recently as a sergeant. During the war he was used in Sicily , Norway , France and Poland . In May 1945 he was taken prisoner by the United States, from which he was released in mid-July 1945.
After his return from captivity, Spörl returned to the profession he had learned. In 1953 he became a member of the regional synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Churches in Bavaria .
Political party
Spörl joined the CSU in 1946.
MP
Spörl was a council member of the Schwarzenbach am Wald market from 1946 to 1952 . At the same time he was a member of the Naila district council and headed the CSU parliamentary group there. He was a member of the German Bundestag from 1953 to 1957. In parliament he represented the constituency of Kulmbach .
Public offices
Spörl held office from 1948 to 1952 as the deputy mayor of the Schwarzenbach market and as the deputy district administrator of the Naila district. For nine months he temporarily took over the business of the district administrator.
