The constituency of Bamberg (constituency 236) has been a federal constituency in Bavaria since 1949 . It includes the city ​​of Bamberg , the municipalities of Altendorf , Burgebrach , Burgwindheim , Buttenheim , Ebrach , Frensdorf , Hallstadt , Lisberg , Pettstadt , Pommersfelden , Priesendorf , Schlüsselfeld , Schönbrunn i.Steigerwald , Stegaurach , Strullendorf and Walsdorf of the Bamberg district and the large district town Forchheim and the communities of Dormitz , Effeltrich , Eggolsheim , Hallerndorf , Hausen , Heroldsbach , Hetzles , Igensdorf , Kirchehrenbach , Kleinsendelbach , Kunreuth , Langensendelbach , Leutenbach , Neunkirchen a.Brand , Pinzberg , Poxdorf , Weilersbach and Wiesenthau in the Forchheim district . The constituency has been won by the direct candidates of the CSU in all previous federal elections .
