The Party for Health Research (short name: Health Research ) is a political party in Germany .

The small party devotes itself exclusively to the commitment to the faster development of effective medicine against age-related diseases such as cancer , Alzheimer's , heart attacks , strokes , type 2 diabetes , macular degeneration , osteoarthritis , osteoporosis and Parkinson's . Research funds in other medical areas should not be cut and should benefit indirectly from the use of new scientific knowledge. In addition to an improvement in public health , a high economic gain is also expected.

To achieve this goal, it relies on the establishment of new state research and study facilities, technologies in the life sciences and new medical approaches. In addition, the public's interest in medical research is to be increased so that larger parties focus more on the topic themselves.

Other political issues are irrelevant for the Health Research Party and should be left to the coalition partners if they participate in government . She seeks coalitions with all major parties except the AfD , but including the pirates .

The initiator and federal chairman is the Berlin biochemist Felix Werth.
