The Latok I is a 7145 m high mountain in the Panmah Muztagh in the Karakoram .

It is the highest peak in the Latok group in the north of the Skardu district .
Ascent history
The first ascent was achieved by a Japanese expedition in 1979. On July 19, 1979, Sin'e Matsumi, Tsuneo Shigehiro and Yu Watanabe climbed the summit of Latok I. On July 22, Hideo Muto, Jun'ichi Oku and Kota Endo followed on the summit.
