Bundestag constituency Nuremberg - Fürth
The Bundestag constituency of Nuremberg / Fürth was a constituency in Bavaria from 1949 to 1965 . It comprised the independent city of Fürth and, from the independent city of Nuremberg, the old town districts of St. Lorenz and St. Sebald as well as the northwestern districts of Almoshof , Buch , Doos , Eberhardshof , Gaismannshof , Gostenhof , Höfen , Höfles , Kleinreuth , Kraftshof , Leyh , Lohe , Muggenhof , Schniegling , Schnepfenreuth , St. Johannis , Sündersbühl , Thon and Wetzendorf .
For the 1965 federal election there was a comprehensive reorganization of the constituencies in Central Franconia . The area of the dissolved Nuremberg / Fürth constituency was divided into the Nuremberg-North and Fürth constituencies. The last directly elected member of the constituency was Max Seidel ( SPD ).
