Gabriella Pinzari (* 1966 ) is an Italian mathematician who deals with dynamic systems (celestial mechanics, Hamiltonian systems).

Pinzari studied physics and mathematics at the University of Rome La Sapienza (Master's degree in physics in 1990 with Giovanni Gallavotti and in mathematics in 1996 with C. Marchioro) and received his doctorate in 2009 from the University of Roma Tre with Luigi Chierchia (On the Kolmogorov set for many body problems). In between she was a high school teacher in Rome. She has been an assistant professor at the University of Naples since 2013.

With Luigi Chierchia, she succeeded in expanding the KAM theorem from the three-body problem to the n-body problem with regularized symplectic planetary variables , which were introduced independently (and initially unknown by Pinzari in their dissertation) by André Deprit and F. Boigey in the 1980s which in turn go back to Carl Gustav Jacobi . J. Féjoz and Michael Herman , Helmut Rüßmann and Chierchia with Fabio Pusateri also carried out preparatory work in reformulating the problem compared to the original work by Wladimir Arnold . In her dissertation, Pinzari found an explicit measure for the density of stable movements in the celestial mechanical n-body problem.

In 2014 she was invited speaker at the International Congress of Mathematicians in Seoul (with Luigi Chierchia: Metric stability in the planetary n-body problem). In 2015 she received an ERC Starting Grant.
