Gadara
In ancient times, the following cities were called Gadara :
- Gadara (Umm Qais) , in today's Jordan, city of the Decapolis
- Gadara (Perea) , in present-day Jordan, the capital of the Perea countryside
- Gadara (Judea) , west of the Jordan in Judea, northeast of Jericho .
