Titular diocese of Gadara

Gadara is a titular archbishopric of the Roman Catholic Church .

There were two titular dioceses under the name Gadara, one in the Roman province of Palestine I and another in Palestine II. This description obviously concerns the titular bishops of the titular bishopric of Gadara in the province of Palestine II. It belonged to the ecclesiastical province of Scythopolis .

This place is known today as Umm Qais in Jordan .
