The Diocese of Kon Tum ( Latin Dioecesis Kontumensis , Vietnamese Giáo Phan Kon Tum ) is a in Vietnam Located Roman Catholic diocese based in Kon Tum .
history
Pope Pius XI founded the Apostolic Vicariate Kontum with the Breve Decessores Nostros on January 18, 1932 from cessions of territory of the Apostolic Vicariate Qui Nhơn .
With the Apostolic Constitution Venerabilium Nostrorum , it was elevated to a diocese on November 24, 1960. On June 22, 1967, it lost part of its territory to the diocese of Ban Mê Thuột .
