Michael Hoàng Đức Oanh

Micae (German Michael ) Hoàng Đức Oanh (born October 23, 1938 in Hà Tây , Vietnam ) is a Roman Catholic clergyman and emeritus bishop of Kontum .

Life

Michael Hoàng Đức Oanh was ordained a priest for the diocese of Kontum on December 22, 1968 .

Pope John Paul II appointed him Bishop of Kontum on July 16, 2003. The former Bishop of Kontum, Pierre Trân Thanh Chung , donated him episcopal ordination on August 28 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were Paul Nguyên Van Hòa , Bishop of Nha Trang , and Pierre Nguyên Soan , Bishop of Qui Nhơn .

On October 7, 2015, Pope Francis accepted his age-related resignation.
