The Roman Catholic Diocese of Nha Trang ( Latin Dioecesis Nhatrangensis , Vietnamese Giáo Phan Nha Trang ) is in Vietnam Located Roman Catholic diocese based in Nha Trang .
history
Pope Pius XII founded the Apostolic Vicariate Nha Trang on July 5, 1957 from cessions of territory of the Apostolic Vicariate Quinhon and the Archdiocese of Saigon .
With the Apostolic Constitution Venerabilium Nostrorum , it was elevated to a diocese on November 24, 1960. On January 30, 1975 it lost part of its territory to the Phan Thiet diocese .
