The Bistum Lang Son and Cao Bang ( latin Dioecesis Langsonensis et Caobangensis , Vietnamese Giáo Phan Lang Son và Cao Bang ) is in Vietnam preferred Roman Catholic diocese based in Lang Son .

history

Pope Pius X. founded the Apostolic Prefecture Lạng Sơn and Cao Bằng on December 31, 1913 from cessions of territory from the Apostolic Vicariate Tonking .

On July 11, 1939 she was raised to the Apostolic Vicariate with the Apostolic Constitution Libenti animo . With the Apostolic Constitution Venerabilium Nostrorum , it was elevated to a diocese on November 24, 1960.
