The Gadoobang , also called Gadubong , is a sword from Sumatra .

description

The Gadoobang has a single-edged, slightly curved blade. The back of the blade is almost straight. The cutting edge is S-shaped. The back of the blade runs in a slight curve to the place . The booklet is made of wood and has no guard . Shortly below the handle, a protrusion is forged on the blade that points to the cutting edge and extends beyond the width of the blade. The sheaths are made of wood and are decorated with line-shaped carvings . A wide, short segment is placed on the location area that extends beyond the width of the scabbard (see picture info box, second weapon from the left). The Gadoobang is used by ethnic groups from Sumatra.
