Gaios (stonemason)
Gaios ( Greek Γαῖος ) was a Greek stonemason who worked in Isauria in the middle imperial period .
Gaios was the son of the stonemason Paulos , his son was the sculptor Appas Porindeus . Together with his brother Appatas and with Zezis Porindeus he built the Peribolos around the Zeus sanctuary in Astra . He was one of the craftsmen known as technitai who worked as both a sculptor and a builder .
