Varde Sogn is a parish municipality ( Danish : Sogn ) in southern Denmark . Until 1970 she belonged to the Harde Vester Horne Herred in the then Ribe office , then to the Varde municipality in the expanded Ribe office , which was merged into the "new" Varde municipality in the Syddanmark region as part of the municipal reform on January 1, 2007 .

15,217 inhabitants live in the parish, of which 14,022 in the city of Varde (as of January 1, 2020). The church "Sankt Jacobi Kirke" is located in the parish.
