Lydum Sogn is a parish municipality ( Danish : Sogn ) in southern Denmark . Until 1970 she belonged to Harde Vester Horne Herred in what was then Ribe Office , then to Blaabjerg Municipality in the expanded Ribe Office , which was merged into the "new" Varde municipality in the Syddanmark region on January 1, 2007 as part of the municipal reform .

281 inhabitants live in the parish (as of January 1, 2020). The church "Lydum Kirke" is located in the parish.

Neighboring municipalities are Kvong Sogn in the southwest , Lunde Sogn in the south and Nørre Nebel Sogn in the west , and in the neighboring Ringkøbing-Skjern municipality, Sønder Bork Sogn in the northwest , Sønder Vium Sogn in the northeast and Lyne Sogn in the east .
