Gaius Aelius Brocchus

Gaius Aelius Brocchus was a member of the Roman knighthood ( Eques ) living in the 2nd century AD .

A dedicatory inscription that was found at the Arrabona castle and which is dated to 103/115 shows that Brocchus was prefect of an Ala . According to John Spaul , he was prefect of the Ala I Ulpia Contariorum , which was stationed in the province of Pannonia superior .
